There are flashes when I feel the worms of my intestines join the worms in the cellar, 
And I can watch a blood vessel as I did the creek in my old backyard,
Both rushing out of sight, making a point of not asking for my blessing or understanding,

When I almost forget to watch the door, pull back the blankets, ready, should gravity reverse and bring the creek rushing up from wherever it goes after passing the grate down by the church
